According the information I found San Jose, Costa Rica is, in absolute numbers, the largest recipient of labor migration in the region, said a report by the regional office of Central America and Dominican Republic in the International Labour Organization (ILO) "interregional labor migration flows".
About 300,000 migrants living in the country, representing about 7% of the total population of Costa Rica.
Most of these workers come from neighboring Nicaragua, about 75%, but the report warns, the presence of large groups arrived from Colombia and El Salvador.
